A bridge is a fixed dental restoration, custom made to replace a missing tooth by joining an artificial tooth onto the adjacent teeth. There are several different types, each made of different materials. Sometimes it is also necessary to crown the adjacent teeth in order to support the bridges.
At Smile at West Park we never use mercury based grey material fillings, instead we use a tooth coloured material which means fillings are not unsightly or obvious. We remove the minimal amount of decayed and weakened tooth to prevent further spread and build up the tooth with white composite resin to restore the original tooth contour. Most patients choose to have a local anaesthetic that completely numbs the area while the filling is being done. We use topical anaesthetic on all patients prior to the injection to try and make the treatment as pain free and as comfortable as possible.
We can provide a range of aesthetic treatments including dermal fillers and the treatment of lines and wrinkles. We also offer treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and INNO SLIM and drainage - mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten the skin as well as remove excess fat.
Costs start at 150 for wrinkle reduction, lip fillers from 150, marionette lines from 150, hyperhidrosis 350 and mesotherapy 200/session (we recommend a course of 4-6)
A crown or onlay is a form of dental restoration which surrounds a natural tooth and is usually required when a large cavity or restoration threatens the ongoing health of the tooth. A crown or onlay is custom made by a qualified dental technician for each patient from impressions taken at the surgery. The type of crown or onlay used depends upon the individual needs of the patient.
A thin layer of porcelain or composite material is made to fit over the front surface of a tooth and is held in place by a strong adhesive. Veneers improve the shape and position of the tooth and can also be used to repair chipped teeth, or to close small gaps. This cosmetic treatment can completely alter the aesthetics of a patient's teeth, and depending on which type of veneer is applied, involve minimal tooth preparation.
Teeth cleanings, Fluoride and Sealant are just a few of our advanced diagnostics and preventative dentistry...
An effective safe treatment that lightens the colour of the teeth without removing any of the natural protective surface. A whitening gel is placed into custom made trays which fit over the teeth. This gel breaks down releasing oxygen which penetrates the enamel, gradually reducing the discolouration. This process is repeated as required usually over a 14 night period, depending on tooth colour and desired end result.

At Smile at West Park we always carry out an oral cancer screening during every appointment. This involves examining the soft tissues in the mouth, the lips and the tongue to identify any abnormal areas. This routine procedure means that any potential issues are identified early on when patients can be easily referred to a specialist, where premalignant lesions are treated accordingly.
After the initial assessment of your dental health and after any required treatment we encourage our patients to join Denplan. Each patient will be placed in a category-for which there is a pre calculated fee-depending on their level of dental health. Denplan is an easy way on managing dental costs.

This is a dental procedure to treat an infection within the centre of the tooth or root canal system. Such an infection is caused by bacteria that live in the mouth and invade the tooth which either causes the tooth to decay or dies as a result of trauma. The treatment involves removal of the bacteria from within the root canal system, followed by filling of the canals and sealing the tooth with a filling or a crown

These are coatings applied to a child's back teeth to help prevent decay, by stopping bacteria and food penetrating the protective layer. The protective coating seals the tiny grooves (fissures) in the teeth. The application procedure is quick and painless taking less than a minute on each tooth.
